The Category B course
The Category B driving license course is divided into the following training components:
Online Course (E-learning)
We use the modern Liikluslab platform. After account activation, you are given 90 days to complete the theoretical modules. This is not simply watching a recorded video lecture, but an interactive system where the student reads text, watches videos, and solves interim tests.
There are 17 chapters in total. For example, once the first chapter is completed, you must pass an interim test with at least 90% correct answers to unlock the next chapter. Everything proceeds step-by-step. If a student is unable to complete the theory within 90 days, they can purchase additional time directly on the Liikluslab platform—different time options are available there.
Traffic tests are included in the price of the online course.
Classroom Instruction
Lectures are held once a week in our classroom downtown at Tatari 12/1. We start at 18:00 and finish around 20:00. The course duration is 2 months.
The student must purchase their own traffic tests on the Liikluslab platform. Test prices are approximately €25–€45. Practical training can be started parallel to the theory course. To do this, a health certificate must be acquired. This can be done either through Liikluslab or at a family doctor’s office. The cost is around €35.
Driving School Theoretical Exam
The driving school’s theoretical exam also takes place on the Liikluslab platform. The exam has 40 questions, and you may have up to 5 mistakes to pass the exam successfully. Exams take place in our classroom on Fridays at 16:30. The first attempt is free; each subsequent attempt costs €10.
Practical Driving Lessons
Practical driving lessons take place in both the city and on the highway, preparing you for various traffic situations.

The final stage of the initial training, which is also known as ‘winter driving course’, must be completed before the provisional driving licence is exchanged for the normal driving licence. It must be completed before your category B provisional driving licence expires. If you don’t complete the final stage training, you won’t be able to extend your provisional driving licence!
Your driving studies do not end up with graduating from the driving school and receiving the provisional driving licence. After receiving the provisional driving licence begins the so-called final stage of the initial training, or period when you practise driving independently on the road. The final stage of the initial training lasts 23 months. If you own a category B provisional driving licence, then the final stage training is a compulsary part of the final stage of education.
Continued training (jätkuõpe)- After failing 3 times on state driving exam.
